CJSR FUNDRIVE

CJSR is looking for your support! The home of BPM and many other fine shows is looking to the community at large for donations during its 25th anniversary FunDrive, which runs until Saturday October 3rd.

If you don't already know, CJSR is a volunteer-based community/campus station here in Edmonton. It doesn't run a lot of ads, and depends greatly on donations to underwrite a good chunk of operational costs. The shows might be free, but it isn't cheap to have a place to produce or air them!

CJSR not only lets a show like BPM exist, but it's also home to a good amount of multicultural, news and information programming that you won't find anywhere else on the dial. But CJSR is definitely best known for supporting the community it lives within, promoting events and exposing listeners to new artists and ideas.

So if you listen to BPM, or just like the idea of CJSR, please take a moment and make a donation here at CJSR.com or call 780-492-2577. Better yet, do it during my show tommorrow (Sept 26 at 6 PM MST)!

Also, you're all invited to the CJSR FunDrive after party at the Artery on Saturday October 3rd, which will begin with a live on location broadcast of BPM at 6 PM! It's open to all ages, with a small donation at the door!
