Hybrid - new track - Break My Soul

One of my favourite electronic groups of all time is back with a new single, "Break My Soul," from their forthcoming album, Disappear Here. As time has passed, their sound has become more and more epic, perhaps influenced a great deal by the bountiful soundtrack work they've taken on over the years. This track finds them in classic form, and while it's not something that will rock a dance floor, it will worm its way into your twilight listening. Enjoy!

DJ vs. Promoter

I spotted this clip on DJ Reese's blog (check it out here) - she's a rather excellent Calgary DJ who holds down a Wednesday residency at Habitat called Robot Rock.

I think it hits the nail on the head with some dubious promoters I've dealt with through the years. In fact, I think I've said the exact same things at times.
