Farewell 2011! This was the year that electronic dance music officially and unquestionably went overboard and crashed the North American mainstream. Nero's Me and You became the unofficial theme of a TV talent show, Diplo shilled smartphones, Skrillex landed on the cover of Spin Magazine, both Tiesto and Swedish House Mafia filled stadiums in the US, and some kid named Avicii took it all to another Level. Best of all, it was a banner year for anthems that rocked dance floors, festivals and car stereos everywhere. I wish I had more than two hours for this special, I could have played even more.
